"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you." ~Dr. Suess

I was born in Omaha, Nebraska...the middle child of three girls. I spent the first 14 years of my life as a "Nebraska Cornhusker." Go Big Red! After three years in Cheyenne, Wyoming, my family was transferred back to Omaha where I graduated from Millard North High School, "Home of the Mustangs". Fulfilling a childhood dream, I selected a teaching college in upstate New York, SUNY Cortland. After only 1 year in New York, my family was transferred to Fort Worth, Texas. As a sophomore in college, I decided to try life as a "Texan" and I have never looked back...I have spent the past twenty plus years in Texas. I met my husband, Mark, a local Texas boy. We have two active young boys: Cade (10) and Camden (8) and our little canine girl, Annabelle Rose Harris, a beautiful Golden Retriever. Cade is thrilled to be a 5th grader this year and traveling to all the 5th grade teachers!  Camden is excited to be in Mrs. Moudy's 4th grade class.! My boys keep me busy...catching baseballs, riding bikes, and driving to and from practice and horse riding lessons! I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors. We are avid baseball fans! La Tech BaseballTexas Rangers! & Brock Eagles!!!My time indoors is spent in the kitchen where I have a  real passion for cooking...and eating too!

I am passionate about children and their education in and out of the classroom. I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve as the student council advisor and the student leadership teacher at Brock Junior High. It is an amazing opportunity to share in the impact that our student leaders make with their peers, the faculty, and our Brock community.

My family and I love being a part of the Brock community and are thrilled to be Brock Eagles!
